Consolidated Billing

• You can use the consolidated billing feature in AWS Organizations to consolidate billing and payment for multiple AWS accounts or multiple Amazon Internet Services Pvt. Ltd (AISPL) accounts.

• Every organization in AWS Organizations has a master (payer) account that pays the charges of all the member (linked) accounts.

• AWS Billing (service prefix: aws-portal) provides the service-specific resources, actions, and condition context keys for use in IAM permission policies.

• Use policies to grant permissions to perform an operation in AWS.

• When you use an action in a policy, you usually allow or deny access to the API operation or CLI command with the same name.

• However, in some cases, a single action controls access to more than one operation.
