S3 Cross-Region Replication (CRR)

• It is used to copy objects across S3 buckets in different AWS Regions.

• CRR can help you do the following:

  • Meet compliance requirements.

  • Minimize latency.

  • Increase operational efficiency.

• Both source and destination buckets must have versioning enabled.
