# AWS Messaging

* AWS messaging services **enable different software systems and end devices to communicate and exchange information**.<br>
* You can use AWS messaging services to **send and receive data in your cloud applications**.

## Synchronous Communication

* This means that two or more **services exchange information in real-time**.

## Asynchronous Communication

* &#x20;**Asynchronous communication** refers to the exchange of data between two or more parties without the requirement for all the recipients to respond immediately.
